Ezee Media Online Series Moved Ahead.

The untitled Ezee Media project for the spy-drama online Pilot are moving ahead, I am not certain about the ramifications but we definitely want to make it. There isn't much I can say on the status of its production but it's in the early stages of production. I can't wait to see what Ezee can deliver from the next draft when I see it. At the moment, I am looking forward to Maria Orsutzu to hand me her wash of colour for the 1st issue of the adrenaline pumping miniseries, Nemesis the Hunter's Mark. Jstaarz and I just filmed a scene of Writer's Block with more to come. I will commit to the next draft of the Pilot after I have tied up a few loose strings in my schedule. Next post is my thoughts on the Smallville comic for issue 1 that was released online today on Friday 13th April.

Have a good weekend,

Spoilers for the Nemesis Prequel Graphic Novel.

Last time I spoke about Nemesis Dawn of a Legend, the graphic novel, I spoke about splitting the story into two parts. Well, that idea is now dropped. Instead of breaking the story arc into two parts the book will be whole only they will be two versions: the standard edition and the bonus feature edition that will contain variable covers, behind the scenes, artwork and more. That's all I need to say right now, plus we got a different colourist for that series who is working on a very special project of mine. I will resume providing layouts and inks while Rommel Fabian will replace Julio Falkenhagen in the pencilling duty and Shawn Milazzo is in for the letters, nothing more should be revealed for the series until we are through with the current series that is coming up soon. You should hear more from me about the prequel sometime around in March on an update video.

Next time fans,

Birmingham Comic Con: 2011.

Everyone, just so you know I just reached Birmingham last night and I'm heading over to the comic-con today in the morning. The update will be coming most likely this week and I'm getting prepared for my last year of six form next week. It's been a tough year, I'm sill waiting for all of my results to come through and so far it's looking good. I will try ad upload the update as soon as I can and I'm working on the interview with Jordan O'Connor plus the introduction video will come through. I will be meeting the likes of Dave Gibbons and Doug Braithwaite at the event. Here are pictures taken of where the location in Birmingham was around the location and during the event around it. Sadly, Mark Millar couldn't turn up at the event due to unforeseen health problems and I wanted to get one of my "The Ultimate's" books and "Wanted" signed.

New Logo and More News.

Like the new look, why have I changed it you ask? Well I wanted something that is a little bit more distinctive from the older version and is what has been shown on the cover of the first issue but without the dark motif and is orange. Don't worry, the orange eye is no reality TV concept its just a representation of the mascot's power, so no Big Brother here. I'll leave questions about lettering to Blambot, anyway, I have an improtant update to make. Since the site is being run, more multimedia will be underway within a couple months by the LD Studios Team and I am about to edit a video for something else. It may be shown on the website as an example of our services. Anyway, the news is I am in talks with showing some preview pages of issue 1 of the comic will be shown on Wake Up magazine. For those who have not seen the pencilled and inked version of those page search for Nemesis the Hunter's Mark on Facebook Pages and they should be there. Lettered pages should be on there soon.

Be cool everyone,

The New Kid update and more!!!!

It's now the 5th April people, and it's nearly half term, yes!!! Now I got an update for you, first I just handed the revised script of the pilot for The New Kid. For those of you who don't know what this is, check my last post. Its a new web series coming from the F-ENT team and it stars a couple talented youth about a newbie who enters a new block. Jstaarz, the creator, will direct and this will be executive produced by myself and I will star in it. Shooting may start ASAP during the Easter holidays and should then be uploaded on the Myspace page here is the link for it http://myspace.com/frontierent, on my Youtube account, the link for it is here http://www.youtube.com/user/89kbon my new site http://www.nemesisthehunter.co.uk/ and on this blog. Photograph stills of behind the scenes maybe on this blog also. Check Frontier Entertainment on Facebook.

Another thing is with Hardest to Survive, I am speaking to all of the actors involved with that and I will not start Principal Photography until all testing shoots are done. I have got back my Photoshop again, I should be able to post more artwork from the comic book prequel last year, Nemesis Dawn of a Legend but not as yet. I will try and find time in order to do that, but I have just been handed more pencils from Julio, the co-artist and designer, so I got more inking for issue 1 of Nemesis the Hunter's Mark. Lettering from Rommel will be handed to me this week and hopefully I can get the inking done in time before Easter break so that I can hand in all of the inks and letters for Kieron to colour. More services will be added on the new site soon, so make sure you check them out for apps or stuff like that.

See yah later,

Website is launched.

Hope you okay with everything surrounding the bombshell I put on you about the problems with Hardest to Survive, but sometimes these problems arise. Its really how well you deal with them. Anyway, Rommel has done a rough first draft of letters he has done and they are looking good. I sent him some more pages yesterday, but I'm still waiting for Julio to pass me the other half of the pages for me to ink. I should get it this weekend. After that, it should take some time for me to ink but not too long. Got issue 2 of my layouts to send him too and I'm reformatting the script so that he can get a clear idea on what he is working with. Kieron is off duty busy with his own stuff at the moment, but hopefully by the time I finish the inks and send it to Rommel to go over the letters, he should be finished on time so that I can send him a fully inked and lettered comic book issue for him to wash in technicolour.

Anyway, enough about that. This is not what I came here to talk about, the website for the Nemesis is now ready. There are services for different creative media handled by my company LD Studios, F-ENT and Ezee Media like I spoke to you about the other day. This is so that people who express themselves in the Arts like writers, illustrators, musicians, directors, dancers and more could go in the forefront and provide them a service they need assisting on. At the moment, we can only handle writers, rappers, singers, actors for video production and editing or creative writing and illustration but there will soon be more services available. I cannot provide an obligation quote but there is a contact for more information. The site is on the links page and is as follows http://www.nemesisthehunter.co.uk/.

Nemesis issue 1 ready.... almost!!

Welcome back, everyone. I just want to say that work on Nemesis the Hunter's Mark issue 1 for "The Fallen" is nearly finished, Julio Falkenhagen has begun pencils on second half of the book while I am going over the pages with ink. Rommel Fabian is about to start letters and Kieron Boothe is sorting out the colour. There is no confirmation on which publisher is going to handle the distribution, either one of the big two, Marvel or DC; Image, Dark Horse or independents like Arcana Studios, Black Diamond, Cellar Door Publishing etc but all will be revealed. Remember that flash animation I told you about months ago, well it is still in the works. I have 15 actors auditioning for the lead and the cartoon's script is in development. Check out Facebook Groups for apps, videos and photos and Facebook Pages for more information on what is going on with the production. Also, check out twitter on my contacts section at www.twitter.com/lildre_cains.

Nemesis on Twitter and Facebook!!!

Everyone, I hope you enjoy February as I will. On the 14th is a special day for Valentines, now on my blog I have 5 paged previews from inside of Nemesis the Hunter's Mark issue 1 called "The Fallen", pencilled by Julio Falkenhagen. He just sent me some of his images, at the moment I am laying some inks on practise papers before I get to the sheets. I already sent them down to my colourist, Kieron Boothe and letterer, Rommel Fabian who will be doing the lettering and they are going start on those pages soon.

My interview with Ota Otakiju has finished and is going to be published on a monthly magazine, the name of it will be revealed and a copy of it will be seen on this blog. Another thing is Nemesis meets Tweet and Facebook. The link to both of them is below this section so follow me on Twitter, I'm a regular at tweet and be a fan on Facebook. Coming sometime in the coming weeks are teaser pages of the upcoming book, stay tuned for more information which should come in due time.

Nemesis the Hunter's Mark#1

Part one of seven: The Fallen.

"COVER ART by DEAN RICHARDS, SCRIPT, LAYOUTS & INKS by ANDRE FARQUHARSON, PENCILS by JULIO FALKENHAGEN, COLOURS by JUANMAR STUDIOS AND LETTERS by ROMMEL FABIAN. NEMESIS THE HUNTER'S MARK © written and created by ANDRE FARQUHARSON. Henry Jackson is haunted by nightmares and strange imaginings which pinpoint his deceased parents' situation the night they were killed in a fire in episodic flashbacks. Seven years earlier, he moved to Queens, New York with Uncle Phil and dated Maria Francisco whilst at Fordham University where he befriended Raphael Hagen and Ryan Mitchell, a rivalry developed between Jackson and Mitchell as Ryan fell in love with Maria, so much that he ends up doing one action that eventually causes a feud. Henry maybe forced to abandon his girlfriend and his life will never be the same again".

There you have it, five pages of quality art from Julio, he is very talented and I got to admit he is the best at what he does. Follow the process on my blog and on twitter, here the link is down below. My animation trailer I plan to do is postponed until further notice as I have projects that I am focusing on right now. I am fully vested into my comic and film project I got down the line. Plus my time is really full right now as I have got a separate media project that I am doing also, which is going to take most of my time. However, the animation trailer is still in development and is listed on my schedule.

Nemesis the Hunter's Mark Graphic Novel

My loyal believers, last week I announced Rommel Fabian had made a deal where he will be the co-artist on my book Nemesis Dawn of a Legend, which is going to be a prequel to my upcoming seven issue comic book miniseries Nemesis the Hunter's Mark where he is going to work here as the letterer. Shawn Milazzo will replace him on lettering duties for that book and I will be sending Fabian character designs and cover art while someone else will be doing the colours of the covers that I pencilled and inked. Julio Falkenhagen has nearly finished all of the pages, I am still waiting until I receive those pages to go through inks. As you know, the prequel should be collected together as a graphic novel and is going to be released hopefully in Summer or Autumn 2011. Nemesis the Hunter's Mark will be printed in paperback and be sold to newsagents and comic book retailers bi-monthly and collected into a hardback graphic novel format after the series has ended. I have a special project tied with this with Fabian shortly after.

I will be back next week for more news,

Later everyone,

The Nemesis issue 1

Fans, your commentator is here to bring you some much needed feedback on my forthcoming seven issue comic book series, Nemesis the Hunter's Mark. I am writing the story, braking it down in layouts and inking the pages while Julio Falkenhagen is doing his tight pencils, Kieron Boothe, graphic designer is doing colours and Rommel Fabian is lettering. Now that we got that clear and out of the way on who is credited on this piece, I will reveal the title of the first issue of this all new story arc. The issue will be called "The Fallen", a synopsis is posted below. Before I present you with all of my images down by a few artist's I would like to inform you a note: these pictures are the property of each artist, any information I give you maybe subject to change. Do not forward any links of this to anyone or to any third party without my permission.

Well here are the images, these are preliminary sketches of the characters done by Julio and I with some concept art by Dean Richards who did the teaser cover of issue 1 above. Sadly, he does not have time to do other covers for many future issues, which is a shame, but there will be more cover art done by the whole creative team. Anyway, enough rambling, here are the pictures. Enjoy what you see:

That is all for now, I hope you enjoy the images. It took alot of teamwork and effort to produce somthing like this. Preview images of issue 1 will be released sometime this week, if you are a Facebook user, go on to a link for Facebook Groups and type in Nemesis the Hunter's Mark. Updates on the process will be made constantly each week. Invite your friends to join the social community and take part in any event that should arise, there will be nothing important coming up for now but a Press Release of the book has been in talks with interests and managers. I am about to start inking the magnificent Julio's art.

Thank you for your time
