Back at Dr. Montauk’s secret lair, Ryan had received "Typhus Serum" combined with Henry’s DNA and low dosages of radiation from a particle accelerator to treat the disease but he mutated into a hulking, lizard-human, demon creature that came to be known as Death Spare. The experiment had gone wrong and made him a bio-hazard to society.
