Website is launched.

Hope you okay with everything surrounding the bombshell I put on you about the problems with Hardest to Survive, but sometimes these problems arise. Its really how well you deal with them. Anyway, Rommel has done a rough first draft of letters he has done and they are looking good. I sent him some more pages yesterday, but I'm still waiting for Julio to pass me the other half of the pages for me to ink. I should get it this weekend. After that, it should take some time for me to ink but not too long. Got issue 2 of my layouts to send him too and I'm reformatting the script so that he can get a clear idea on what he is working with. Kieron is off duty busy with his own stuff at the moment, but hopefully by the time I finish the inks and send it to Rommel to go over the letters, he should be finished on time so that I can send him a fully inked and lettered comic book issue for him to wash in technicolour.

Anyway, enough about that. This is not what I came here to talk about, the website for the Nemesis is now ready. There are services for different creative media handled by my company LD Studios, F-ENT and Ezee Media like I spoke to you about the other day. This is so that people who express themselves in the Arts like writers, illustrators, musicians, directors, dancers and more could go in the forefront and provide them a service they need assisting on. At the moment, we can only handle writers, rappers, singers, actors for video production and editing or creative writing and illustration but there will soon be more services available. I cannot provide an obligation quote but there is a contact for more information. The site is on the links page and is as follows http://www.nemesisthehunter.co.uk/.

Director's Cut: Hardest to Survive part 3

Everyone, I'm glad you all came back to present to you more news about Hardest to Survive, but first I got some bad news and good news. I will first give you the bad one. Okay, the bad news is that two clips I was supposed to shoot on the 12th and 13th March this year was cancelled due to complications with the actors, time constraints and sechedule. One of the actors in the shoot had an emergency and had to leave quietly off set to sort the problem out, which is at the hospital. I just hope the person there is okay, the other problem is due to lost footage of one clip that is long overdue which is Artefacts Edutainment's fault who lost it during edits, which is the reason I totally cut ties with them. This means I had to support footage, which they have lost by doing at least two days of shooting back to back in two scenes at various locations. If things can't get any worse, the actor who is playing Nate (Richard O'keffe) has got a busy schedule due to exams but I am in talks with him this weekend so that I can make a final decisison on his stay.

The good news, I'm having a meeting with a business advisor this Friday 1st April and I will sign papers for applications for First Light Young Filmmakers among other documents to secure budgeting of the film. I am already in negotiatians with a Director friend Enrico Tessarin about providing me with a Producer. If this goes right, I should be able to start Principal Photography in April/May. I need to sort out a Production Schedule and what the budget is going towards and I have slowly grasped different extras who should be around for this film. I got a casting director searching for a potential actor who can play one of Malachi's henchmen who plays a key part in the film and he is searching for people that can play basketball players seen at the very start of the movie. So, the film is still moving steadily, I did not get to shoot at the specific time I wanted to shoot but I am sure I can get it sorted either way. Make sure you support Hardest to Survive on the Facebook pages with this link it is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hardest-to-Survive-Short-Film, and the clips that I have done so far, the first one and the extended clip are both still available on my account http://http//www.youtube.com/user/89kbon.

Follow me on my blog, over this page for those of you who have come to this site for the first time, for twitter its http://www.twitter.com/lildre_cains and I have more news in store for you about the comic later on this week. The website will be released in the afternoon on Thursday 31st March 2011 so make sure you have a look at that. Otherwise check out the story of Nemesis the Hunter's Mark and the pages that have been pencilled by Julio Falkenhagen and inked by myself. The 5 preview pages lettered by Rommel Fabian and coloured by Kieron Boothe, although busy as he is, will be coming soon. You can view all of these pages on this link http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nemesis-the-Hunters-Mark-Comic.

Take care for now,

Anti-Hero's face in promo.

Everyone, thanks for tuning in earlier this week. The man behind the mask and trench coat has a voice and with it, a face. Yes, Courtney Starr is handing a voice to Henry Jackson/The Nemesis, the actor had starred in various TV programmes, stand up comedy and poetry shows. A singer, model, boxer and martial artist, his skills provide the kind of energy this character has. Joining him is a character who is a helper that will be instrumental to the creation of Jackson's inner beast. I will not tell you which character another voice actor will be playing, but I will give you a clue. For those who have read Nemesis Dawn of a Legend, may spot it. He's someone that is the key to Jackson's past, that is all I am giving you. I'm afraid you're going to have to read the comic to find out. More updates on the animation trailer should come either during or after Easter holidays. Still, no comment is being made on what might be shown. Teaser posters may coincide with the first issue's release as they are being worked on. You will be able to see them on the Facebook page linked on this blog, it should be in the Links section. I'll leave with one thing. I say to everyone out there, whatever your interest keep doing what you doing.

Take care,

Nemesis the Hunter's Mark anime trailer.

Fans, what's good. I got some great news for you, the anime trailer for the upcoming comic book miniseries is close to coming up with a face. About 20 actors have auditioned for the role of lead character and only 6 of them have made it through this far. I will make a final decision this week on the 24th March. Its been a tough call, as each actor have been very great in their interpretation of Henry Jackson and captured the essence of his suave, egotistic and kind-hearted nature. I will not tell you what is in store this issue and I am not certain when it will be released. However, if production is swift I should be able to release it after the 1st issue's release. I am about to start the next draft of the script and revisions are being sorted out for storyboards, plus I am going to manage a studio where I can sort out the animation and recording. I will reveal what is going on with the first issue later on, but issue 1 is not far behind print and as stated on the Facebook page, issue 2 is ready to be drawn. Cover artist, Dean Richards, is about to start the cover for the second issue. As soon as I have sent Julio, Kieron and Rommel layouts and the script for the next issue: "Freedom short-lived" will begin. The comic I plan to sell will be bi-monthly, so hopefully from April 2011 to October 2011 and from there it should then later be collected as a graphic novel. As for the prequel, Nemesis Dawn of a Legend, it will start around Summer and Autumn and be collected into an e-book as graphic novel.

Next week, I will come back on the development of Hardest to Survive, the production on clips, as well as what is the future of other projects in store. By then I should tell you what the address for the new website is and services available for you. At some point, T-shirts and illustrations will be available to you but at the moment, due to my crazy schedule, I won't be able to do it as yet. Although, I can set up a video production (for musicians, artists, promoters) and writing services in a range of different mediums (articles, lyrics, film, tv, poems, short stories, comics and even animation).

Alright, take care everyone

The New Website.

Nemesis the Hunter's Mark will release it's new website on the 31st March, at the moment it's still under construction and has not been updated yet. On the site, there are services as well as some multimedia you can observe. The services include video production, writing proposals, illustrations and T-shirt designs. Its supported by GBBO (Getting British Business Online) and is associated with Head for Business, L-D Studios, Frontier Entertainment and Ezee Media. It provides writers a chance to get their voices heard and their ideas enhanced. The site will be linked to this blog and any presentations will be referred on the blog but uploaded on that network. There, you will be able to make an order for the comic when it comes out soon this Spring 2011. Production is moving swift, I promise I will get back to the covers in due time. Also, pray for those who were lost in Japan in the Tsunami, its a terrible situation and I hope many down there are okay. I think I will do a campaign for them and give a tribute and show them to come out this dark time, maybe some Manga art. We must not take things for granted that we're still alive. The secret to life is to make up for things and enjoy yourself whenever you can in life.

I will be back with progress on the comic book,

Take care everyone,

The Launch.

Welcome back everyone, we're now in the beginning of March. Enjoyed your weekend? Well, I got loads to inform you about. Nemesis the Hunter now has it's very own website, I will reveal the address soon enough, at the moment, its under construction but I will make a press release soon. Its a multimedia site designed to give services for the purpose of your entertainment, so stay tuned for updates. The website is also made for those who have any ideas in media such as videos, music, artwork, writing from their own imagination to come forward and present their space and get someone to enhance them for a generous fee. The requirements I will place on the site when it is ready but these are for written or graphic material only.

In other news, Julio Falkenhagen, the co-artist on my book, Nemesis the Hunter's Mark, has just finished pencilling my pages for the 1st issue and I have nearly done the inks. It will take at least a few weeks before printing can be made. Julio is now ready to take on issue 2, I just have to send him layouts and the script for that. Lettering is being worked on at the moment and the animation which should be out before the book is coming out is still in the development stages, I've just handed in the second draft to one of my co-workers, which is being revised, who also helped me out with "Aggro" for Pulp Theatre. The next draft will be penned by me and the story will be revised by an editor and approved for production.

See you later,
